How to convert AVIF to JPG
Drop your .avif files into the box above.
JPG is selected; set the quality (90% recommended).
Click Convert and download the JPGs or a ZIP.
What is AVIF?
AVIF is a modern image format based on the AV1 video codec. It produces very small, high-quality files, so more and more websites and CDNs use it. The downside is compatibility: many photo editors, office apps, online forms and older systems can’t open .avif files yet. Converting to JPG solves that instantly.
Need transparency?
AVIF can contain transparent areas; JPG can’t. Choose a background colour before converting, or pick PNG in the format selector to keep the transparency. Want to go the other way and make your own images smaller? Try JPG to WebP.
