Add a logo

How to Add a Logo to All Slides in PowerPoint

Copy-pasting your logo onto every slide is slow and it ends up in slightly different places. The right way is the Slide Master: add the logo once and it appears on every slide, in exactly the same position.

Quick answer

Go to View → Slide Master, select the top (parent) master slide, choose Insert → Pictures and add your logo. Resize it and drag it to a corner, then click Close Master View. The logo now appears on every slide.

How to put your logo on every slide

  1. Open the Slide Master

    Click View → Slide Master.

  2. Select the parent master

Click the top, larger thumbnail in the left panel. Objects added there appear on every layout.

  3. Insert the logo

Choose Insert → Pictures → This Device and select your logo.

  4. Size and position it

Resize it from a corner and drag it to the bottom-right or top-right corner. Use Picture Format → Align (with Align to Slide) for exact placement.

  5. Close Master View

Click Close Master View. The logo appears on all slides and can’t be moved by accident in normal editing.

Hide the logo on the title slide

In Slide Master view, select the Title Slide layout and tick Hide Background Graphics. If your background also disappears, re-add the background to that layout only. You can also place a larger logo on that layout instead.

Logo not showing on some slides?

  • The layout may have Hide Background Graphics enabled — untick it.
  • A full-size picture on the slide may cover the logo.
  • The logo may have been added to one layout instead of the parent master.

Sharing the deck as PDF?

If you send the presentation as a PDF, or need to brand decks made by others, export it (File → Export → Create PDF/XPS) and use Add logo to PDF to stamp your logo on every page — or a semi-transparent watermark with the client’s name.

The faster way: add your logo without PowerPoint

PowerPoint works, but you repeat the process for every file. WatermarkOn applies the same logo to all your images and PDFs in one pass, directly in your browser:

  1. Open WatermarkOn and click “Choose logo” (a transparent PNG gives the cleanest edges; for JPG logos tick “Make white background transparent”).
  2. Drop in all the photos or PDFs you want to brand.
  3. Set the logo size, opacity (100% for a solid logo) and position — a corner preset, a percentage, or an exact pixel distance from any corner.
  4. Click “Add watermark” and download each file or everything as a ZIP.
